ADA Information

The Guest Services department at CHI Health Center Omaha strives to provide exceptional service to all guests, including those with disabilities and special needs. The CHI Health Center has met or exceeded the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements of compliance. Our facility provides a full range of accommodations for guests with disabilities to ensure their safety, comfort and enjoyment at all our events. The sections below highlight the services provided.

Buying ADA Tickets

ADA accessible tickets can be purchased online through Ticketmaster.com, in person at the CHI Health Center Omaha box office or over the phone by calling (402) 341-1500.

Wheelchair Escorts

Upon request, the CHI Health Center Guest Services department may provide complimentary wheelchair escorts on a first-come, first-served basis. Escorts can be made available at any entrance. Guests will be met by a wheelchair attendant and escorted to their seat location. Please note that our staff cannot remain with you during an event, nor will they permit a guest to remain in the wheelchair for the duration of the event. Wheelchair escorts may not be offered during some Convention Center events. CHI Health Center does not offer motorized scooters.

Wheelchair Storage

Wheelchair storage is provided at CHI Health Center Omaha Guest Services locations for individuals who wish to transfer from their wheelchair to a seat during an event. Staff members will make arrangements to return the wheelchair during a time frame of your preference. In the Arena, Guest Services is located behind Section 116 on the Main Concourse. In the Convention Center, it’s located outside of Hall B in the Grand Hallway.

Seating

CHI Health Center Omaha has reserved ADA seating throughout the Arena. For each seat reserved by a guest with a disability, up to three (3) companion seats can be available. These seats are available in every price range and are selected to allow for convenient entry and exit, as well as ease of access to restrooms and concessions stands for guests with limited mobility. The Arena’s Premium Suites and Club Lounge are also accessible for ADA guests who are ticketed for these areas. Accessible seating is available through Ticketmaster and the CHI Health Center Omaha box office. When ordering accessible tickets, it is important to indicate you require ADA seating so that we may properly assist you. Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the connecting parking garage and surrounding surface lots at CHI Health Center Omaha. These spaces, including van-accessible stalls, are designated for vehicles displaying a current state-issued hangtag or license plate. Guest drop-off and pick-up locations are located along 10th Street on the west side of the facility by the Arena and Convention Center entrances. Additionally, guests parking in Lot A (on the southeast side of the Arena) may utilize the curb cut within for guest drop off and pick up. Accessible spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis so please plan accordingly. Refer to the Directions/Parking section of our website for additional information.

Sign Language Interpreters

CHI Health Center Omaha may provide signed performances for our hearing-impaired guests at select Arena events. While interpretation services cannot be guaranteed for every event, we will make a concerted effort to accommodate requests received with appropriate advanced notice – at least two (2) weeks prior to a show. Please contact CHI Health Center Omaha at 402.341.1500 and ask for the Box Office or fill out this ADA contact form.

Assistive Listening Devices (ALD)

CHI Health Center Omaha is equipped with an Assistive Listening System with receivers available for Arena events. Guests who are interested in this service should visit with a representative at Guest Services, located outside of Section 116 on the Main Concourse. Guests must leave valid identification (such as a driver’s license) as collateral. This is a complimentary service.

Closed Captioning Services

CHI Health Center Omaha is equipped with a Closed Captioning System, offering a limited number of mobile devices upon request. These devices have the ability to transmit and display communications made through the building’s public address system. Individuals interested in this service should visit with a representative at Guest Services outside of Section 116 on the Main Concourse. Guests must leave a valid identification (such as a driver’s license) as collateral. This is a complimentary service for CHI Health Center Omaha guests. This system may not be available for all events.

    TTY/TDD Services

    All customers, including those with disabilities, are encouraged to contact our Guest Services department with questions through our contact form here. Individuals may also call the Nebraska Relay Center at 711; the Relay Center will then place a call to the CHI Health Center, where we will be happy to communicate through that service. In the Arena, a TTY phone is located at Guest Services behind Section 116 on the Main Concourse. In the Convention Center, a TTY phone is located at Guest Services outside of Hall B in the Grand Hallway.

    Service Animals/Guide Dogs

    Service animals are welcome at CHI Health Center Omaha and must rest in the seating area of the guest, rather than in an aisle. Please notify your ticket seller at the time of purchase so that they can assist you in locating an accommodating seat.

    Emergency Evacuation Procedures

    In the event of an emergency, CHI Health Center Omaha staff have been properly trained in evacuation procedures to ensure the safety of all guests, including those with disabilities.

    Restrooms

    All restroom facilities at CHI Health Center Omaha are accessible. In addition, we have six family/unisex restrooms available in the Arena and family/unisex restrooms available in the Convention Center.

    Elevators/Escalators

    CHI Health Center Omaha is equipped with elevators that access all public areas of the Arena and the Convention Center.
