CHI Health Center Omaha not only meets but exceeds the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance requirements. We are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests. Our wide range of accommodations ensures that everyone can enjoy a safe, comfortable and memorable experience at all of our events. Below, you will find details on the services we provide to enhance your visit, tailored to meet the diverse needs of our guests.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is available in the connecting parking garage and surrounding surface lots at CHI Health Center Omaha. Key details include:

  • Accessible spaces, including van-accessible stalls, are designated for vehicles displaying a current state-issued hangtag or license plate.
  • Drop-off and pick-up locations are located along 10th Street, on the west side of the facility, near the Arena and Convention Center entrances.
  • Guests parking in Lot A (southeast side of the Arena) may use the curb cut within the lot for drop-off and pick-up.

Please note, accessible spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend planning accordingly. Refer to the Directions/Parking Page for a parking map, directions and more information.

Assistive Listening Devices (ALD)

CHI Health Center Omaha offers an Assistive Listening System with receivers available for Arena events. Guests who wish to utilize this service can visit Guest Services, located outside Section 116 on the Main Concourse. A valid form of identification (such as a driver’s license) is required as collateral. This service is provided free of charge.

Buying ADA Tickets

ADA accessible tickets are available for purchase through multiple convenient options: online via Ticketmaster.com, in person at the CHI Health Center Omaha box office, or by phone at (402) 341-1500. Whichever method you choose, our team is ready to assist you in securing your tickets for a seamless experience.

Closed Captioning Services

CHI Health Center Omaha is equipped with a Closed Captioning System, offering a limited number of mobile devices upon request. These devices allow guests to view real-time communications made through the building’s public address system. To request a device, individuals should visit Guest Services outside of Section 116 on the Main Concourse. Guests must leave a valid form of identification (such as a driver’s license) as collateral. This service is complimentary for all guests, though availability may vary depending on the event.

CHI Health Center Omaha is equipped with elevators and escalators providing easy access to all public areas of both the Arena and the Convention Center. For your convenience, the locations of elevators and escalators can be found in the venue maps at the bottom of the page, ensuring a smooth and accessible experience for all guests.

Emergencies and Evacuations

CHI Health Center Omaha is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our guests and team members. In the event of an emergency, please proceed to the nearest stairwell, descend to street level and exit the building. For your safety, please follow the guidance of CHI Health Center Omaha team members and any law enforcement officers present. Our staff is fully trained to assist during emergencies and will help direct you to safety.

Restrooms

Restrooms are conveniently located throughout CHI Health Center Omaha for your comfort and ease. All restrooms comply with or exceed ADA specifications. You will find men’s, women’s and family restrooms throughout the building. For guests with children, family restrooms are available next to all public restrooms in both the Convention Center and Arena. Additionally, baby changing stations are provided in every restroom for your convenience.

Seating

CHI Health Center Omaha offers a variety of ADA seating options throughout the Arena to ensure comfort and accessibility for all guests. Key details include:

  • Reserved ADA seating is available throughout the Arena, with up to three companion seats available for each ADA seat reserved.
  • These seats are offered in all price ranges, providing convenient entry and exit, as well as easy access to restrooms and concession stands for guests with limited mobility.
  • Premium Suites and the Club Lounge are also accessible for ADA guests who have tickets for these areas.
  • Accessible seating can be purchased through Ticketmaster or at the CHI Health Center Omaha box office. When ordering, be sure to indicate that you require ADA seating so we can assist you properly.

Service Animals/Guide Dogs

Service animals are welcome at CHI Health Center Omaha. For the comfort and safety of all guests, service animals must remain in the seating area with their owner, not in the aisle. When purchasing tickets, please inform the ticket seller so they can assist in selecting an appropriate seating arrangement.

Sign Language Interpreters

CHI Health Center Omaha offers signed performances for hearing-impaired guests at select Arena events. While we strive to accommodate these requests, availability of interpretation services cannot be guaranteed for every event. To ensure we can make appropriate arrangements, please submit your request at least two (2) weeks prior to the event. Please contact CHI Health Center Omaha at 402.341.1500 and request the Box Office or fill out our Contact Form and select ‘ADA Compliance’ in the subject dropdown.

TTY/TDD Services

For assistance, all customers, including those with disabilities, are encouraged to contact our Guest Services department. The following options are available for support:

  • Use our Contact Form for questions or inquiries.
  • Call the Nebraska Relay Center at 711, and they will place a call to CHI Health Center Omaha for communication through the service.
  • A TTY phone is available at Guest Services:

Wheelchair Escorts

Complimentary wheelchair escorts are available on a first-come, first-served basis for guests who require assistance during CHI Health Center Omaha Arena events. Please note that wheelchair assistance may not be offered during Convention Center events. A wheelchair attendant will meet guests at the entrance and provide an escort to their seat. After the event, the attendant may return with the wheelchair and assist the guest back to the exit.

To request a wheelchair escort for an event, please alert security personnel upon arrival. We are happy to help ensure a comfortable and accessible experience for all of our guests.

CHI Health Center Omaha does not offer motorized scooters.

Wheelchair Storage

CHI Health Center Omaha provides wheelchair storage at Guest Services locations for guests who wish to transfer from their wheelchair to a seat during an event. The following services are available:

  • Wheelchairs can be stored at Guest Services, with arrangements made to return the wheelchair at a time that works for you.
  • In the Arena, Guest Services is located behind Section 116 on the Main Concourse.
  • In the Convention Center, Guest Services is located outside of Hall B in the Grand Hallway.

Our staff is happy to assist with storing and returning your wheelchair, ensuring a comfortable experience during your visit.
