Our selection of Omaha and the CHI Health Center Omaha to host our annual conference and trade show was serendipitous. Omaha had not been on our radar as an option until I mistakenly booked a downtown hotel while attending an industry event being held on the outskirts of town, which gave me the unexpected opportunity to see the convention center and experience the beautiful and vibrant city center and Old Market areas. I was blown away by the city, the food, and the cool vibe to the point that I called our event planner to say, “What about Omaha?” We arranged a site visit, toured the convention center and neighboring hotels and off-site venues, and booked Omaha a few weeks later. I could not be more excited about sharing the Omaha experience with our members next year.

The team at CHI was extremely attentive, professional and incredibly easy to work with. The facility layout worked well with our event. MECA, Levy and Inspire took care of our every need and our event has had rave reviews. Pleasing such a large crowd is no small feat, yet CHI managed to provide amazing service, delectable food and dependable AV services. We’ve held the International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo – the largest ethanol conference in the world – at the CHI Health Center on 3 separate occasions. Omaha is an ideal location for this conference and the CHI Center is a great fit. The exhibit halls, ballrooms, and meeting spaces are easily accessible and our attendees appreciate that the venue is within walking distance of fantastic restaurants and shops, great hotels and interesting sights. The staff at the center has been so wonderful to work with! I’ve worked with many of the same people since our first time in Omaha in 2018. We’ve been to a lot of convention centers around the U.S. and the team at the CHI Health Center continues to be some of the best in the business. From the sales and contracting process, to the food & beverage, to the event coordination – Midwest hospitality rings true with this staff. As a conference manager, I’m grateful for their open communication, flexibility, and accuracy. We’re looking forward to bringing this event to Omaha again and again.
