Omaha River City Rodeo

After a successful 2018 rodeo, Omaha River City Rodeo will return September 27-28, 2019.

Perfectly timed on the last weekend for contestants to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo, the best athletes in the sport will compete in what fans have dubbed – the National Finals of the North.

<<< CLEAR BAG POLICY >>> Bags permitted into CHI Health Center Omaha must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC totes measuring 12x12x6 or a one gallon clear freezer bag (Ziploc or similar). Only one bag is allowed per ticket holder. Additionally, small clutch-sized bags measuring 4.5x6.5 will also be allowed inside the arena after a proper security search. Oversized bags or purses are not allowed inside the premises. Exceptions will be made for bags with medical necessity after appropriate inspection. <<< PROHIBITED ITEMS >>> Any type of weapon, real or fake, or any item resembling a weapon is strictly banned from MECA premises. This includes (but is not limited to) handguns, rifles, knives, straight-edge razors, brass knuckles, swords, Tasers, or any variety of weaponry replica. These restrictions also apply to individuals lawfully permitted to carry concealed weapons. Weapons may not be held or checked at Security or Guest Services. MECA operates smoke free facilities and does not permit the use of drugs, illegal substances, e-cigarettes, or the entrance of outside alcoholic beverages. Tobacco may be used outdoors in appropriately indicated areas. Professional cameras or any camera with either a detachable or longer than three inch lens is not allowed, nor are selfie sticks and any video/audio recording devices. Additional prohibited items include: laser pointers, glow sticks, drones, hover boards, Heelys, skateboards, rollerblades, noise-makers (such as bells, whistles or air horns), large or golf umbrellas, inflatables (such as beach-balls, footballs, or balloons), bubbles, Frisbees, fireworks or pyrotechnics, confetti or glitter, apparel containing abusive, foul or disruptive language, bicycles, helmets, or chairs. Outside food or beverage is not allowed inside MECA facilities, with the exception of one 20-ounce (or smaller) clear plastic water bottle per person. Masks are prohibited and should not be worn at any time inside the premises. Any sign or banner must receive prior approval from MECA management before entrance. Any item or behavior considered disruptive or dangerous to public safety will result in immediate removal from the grounds by security personnel.
